How much would any year EVO cost from a car auction in St. Louis?
I need a car and i was thinking about going to the car auction. I live in St. Louis, Missouri. I was wondering if there is any chance of finding a Mitsubishi Lancer there, or any inport tuner, and how much would it cost?? Please someone help me!!!

- You can't go to most auctions, as they are for dealers and wholesalers only. Open auctions are dangerous, as every car you look at is strictly AS-IS, no promises or guarantees, and any tuner car at a public auction will almost certainly be a piece of crap. On the other hand, if you have any idea what you are looking for, and you have an understanding of the realities of tuner cars, then a public auction might be a good place to look for repossessed or seized tuner cars. Such auctions always publish a list before hand, so you can check availability. It is possible to get such a car for half the original sticker (mid teens), and score the sh*t for free. Just don't be disappointed if another few grand are needed to get it reliable. Bring cash, as banks do not want to play this game.
- I found a list of several auto auction and government seized web sites. http://www.autoadviceonline.com/Government-Seized-Auto-Auctions.html These sites can probably answer your questions. It looks like they cost a little bit to join, but I couldn't find any free resources online. Since the inventory is always changing, your signup fee is probably used to keep the site up to date.
