How do you get yourself to a car Auction? (Where in California)?

Where are these auctions held, is there any website with a list of the locations of car auctions? How can you tell if it is a real bank owned seized car auction and not some company with regular priced cars posing as the other ?

1. Ross k, I found a list of several auto auction and government seized sites. http://www.autoadviceonline.com/Government-Seized-Auto-Auctions.html These sites probabaly have a FAQ page to help you. However they cost a little bit to join, but I couldn't find any free resources in my searches. Since the vehicles are always being sold, your annual fee is probably used to employ people to keep the site up to date.
