How can i get rid of the service message on my Renault laguna 2001?

The onboard computer is displaying a SERVICE in orange. How can i get it to go away without taking it to the dealer. I've tried various things that i found on the net but none seem to work. Renault Laguna Priveledge 1800cc 16v. Thanks in advance.

1. get a diagnostic computer and just erase it. Snap-On has some good equipment.
