When will the Renault F1 cars start winning again? When will the Renault F1 cars start winning again?
What is the flower logo on Renault F1 cars around 2006.? Renault F1 cars have this logo on the side of the nose and sometimes the mirror and I have forgotten what it is for. It has white petals with a yellow/orange centre outlined in black. Can someone help please?
how come the Renault f1 cars were good back in 2005 & 2006? how come the Renault f1 cars were good back in 2005 & 2006? - what were the rules back then that were advantageous for Renault? what rule change in 2007 made them drop to the middle of the pack?
Will the scandal at Renault F1 team affect Renault as a manufacturer of road cars.? In short are Renault ever to be trusted again. Are the Public being lied to and cheated.
Will Renault F1 quit after 2009 season ? Anyone knows will Renault f1 follow BMW steps to quit the sport , especially with thier sponsor ING leaving this season . there is a possibilities they switch back to Engine supplier role ? and sold the team ??
ING pulling out from Renault F1? I know that they ended the sponsorship with Renault but since the car color is based on the company what are they going to do no are they just change the color or put duck tape just to cover it lol (that would be nice). Tell me what do you think.
Where can I get the Renault F1 'God Save Our Queen' song which was done at Goodwood yesterday? I went to Goodwood Festival Of Speed (UK) yesterday (8th July 2006) and the Reanult F1 team programmed the engine to 'rev' the tune of 'God Save Our Queen'! I thought it was brilliant and wanted to record it on my phone but I forgot and was wondering whether I can download it anywhere. Please Help.
Is this the end of Renault f1 team now that? Flavio Briatore and Pat Simonds have left the team and that Renault have also decided not to dispute the recent allegations made by the FIA? http://www.planetf1.com/story/0,18954,3213_5563045,00.html
Renault F1 Team fans only... Who will be Giancarlo Fisichella's teammate next year? Fisi said that his teammate will certainly be from Finland. He made this statement in a press conference in Montreal, a week ago, and the official announcement is due only days before Magny-Cours. That is next week... So you get a final chance to express your opinion. Two options: 1. Kimi Raikkonen 2. Heikki Kovalainen, currently Renault test and third driver
can i fit a Renault V10 F1 Formula One engine into any specific car? because i might buy the f1 engine and put it into one of my cars that i'm rebuilding i can buy the f1 engine for about £5000 and it comes with crank, rods, pistons, camshafts & valves, it also has the timing gears but needs the front cover to hold them in place and it needs fuel and ignition systems and pumps to make it a complete/working (±750 BHp engine)
is the renault f1 website under repair? or has it crashed because of the news of Alonso's return?!!!!!!!!! An hour ago it wasn't. I called some friends who were annoyed that i made them look up the site, and they said it was down as well..
Renault F1 singing engine, take a look at this guys? lol, i just found this funny http://uk.youtube.com/watch?v=7XR7OpM2Ufk skip to about 18 secs for the good stuff
Am i the only one who thinks FIA is trying to punish Renault F1 for no apparent reason this season? A huge spring came out of Barrichello's Brawn GP car, injured Massa, hospitalized him, and yet no punishment was given to him or the team. Alonso's tire came out when he pitted from the lead, and he had to retire from the race he was leading. And his tyre did not injure anybody. Retiring from the only race he could win this season has the be biggest punishment for him and the team. And now, Piquet claims he crashed his car upon his team's orders. Why tell this now? Where was he before? Is there any evidence that supports his 'theory'? He has no skills for driving an F1 car and he is trying to claim his former team for not having skills.
For TRUE Renault F1 Team fans....? Will Schumacher and Ferrari PAY for what they have done to the RF1 Team in these three races by being humiliated by both Fernando and Giancarlo in the next races? And by losing the championship to Fernando... again? It's ONLY for TRUE Renault fans because I would like to hear the opinions of fans in sorrow after Ferrari's three-win streak. Fans like me.
So Renault have got away scot free after the worst cheating incident ever in F1.? Forget the suspended sentence bit, they got away with it, so how come McLaren who were guilty of a far less serious offence that didn't endanger anyone, got fined millions of pounds. Isn't this proof that Formula 1 is a joke. Fork UK; In what way is a suspended penalty a punishment, does anyone seriously think Renault will do it again and activate their punishment, they should have been banned, permanently.
my dad is driving me mad.. ! he is gettin a renault megan F1. help me wipe the smile off his face!! :)? is there a hot hatch in the class of the renault. that will knock spots off it. i no the astra vxr,type-r and gti golf dont cum near to itt! and suberus and mistibushi evos and audi s3's dnt count coz they are in a totally different price rang. does any1 know a car in its class that i can mention to knock the big fat smirk off his face ?
Are Renault fabricating the big Singapore 08 controversy to be forced out of F1 instead of going out by wish? 1) Renault want out of F1. That's no secret. 2) If they pull out like Honda or BMW it won't look good for PR and for France in general. They don't want public opinion believing they don't want to be in F1. 3) But if they create a controversy in which the related investigation forces them to retire from the sport...to protect the team and their personnel from embarrassment and unnecessary legal battles...to avoid difficult-to-prove theories and confrontations...then Renault will look like the martyr who would end up retiring from F1 to help the team as the best option for all. A reverse psychology theory. 4) Without ever coming to the end of the investigation (which will be dropped) Renault will be out of F1 - as they wanted. Their principals not charged - as the team won't exist any longer. And the team will be available for sale to Briatore or anyone else, starting from scratch with no bans or penalties. A win-win situation for everybody. Hey, this could be science fiction but...I think it can be very very possible. Renault self destructing on purpose, manipulating public opinion. Who is with me on this crazy theory? GUYS, I am not paranoid. Just a little nuts. I just wanted to throw a curve ball (baseball terminology) to see your reactions. I personally think it's impossible to tell a driver to crash. I think it difficult to believe that Renault would self destruct. I just think the ordeal is bizarre and somewhere there is a reason for it to blow up like this. I have made up a fanta-story and your reactions are that it could be possible. I think proof will never be found. Then again Renault little secret could have been to tell Nelsinho to go faster. That automatically meant crash (especially in a street circuit), so that's why they will never find proof. The radio recordings could just indicate the team ordering Piquet to push. But everybody knew the meaning: Inevitable accident! Alright, stop with this nonsense. I think we have exercised our brains enough on this topic.
Did the FIA get it right against Renault? Was the soft penalty of a two year suspended ban the right judgement against Renault F1?
Formula 1 question: is Renault racing next year? After the problems with race-fixing, the Renault F1 team was given a 2 year ban from F1, right? Then why am I reading everywhere that Renault is considering some race drivers for next year? Can someone please explain?
Do you think that Renault could get back into the American market with a new caravelle? They could make a 4 cylinder 1.3 litre engine by copying the head of their F1 engine. They did win the world constructors championship, they should be selling a car that has some similarity to their race car. They mount this transversly, AHEAD of the rear wheels to improve handling. Then they use a ZF transaxle and Bosch fuel injection and ignition to improve reliability. With their reputation they can't sell it with the Renault name here, but it could be sold in lincoln mercury dealers as a seperate marque, like they did with the Pantera.
Should Toyota get out of F1 and just supply Williams with engines? Toyota are one of the highest spending teams in F1 and aside from 2004 have been pathetic. They throw loads of money at the cars, have poor drivers, no passion and no history in F1. Like Honda, they dont look like they will ever be serious challengers in F1. Williams are using the same engine and are well ahead of them in the championship on very limited funds. They are one of the greatest F1 teams of all time and Patrick Head and Frank Williams are pure racers. They also have an immense talent in Nico Rosberg. No one likes Toyota, they are only a big company participating as part of a marketing ploy. They would get just as much exposure if they supplied Williams with engines, it wouldnt cost as much and they would have a better chance of success and a lot more followers(the japanese would still support them because they would make the engine and Williams have a large fanbase too) Renault got just as much exposure when they supplied Williams with engines in the 90s as now. Okay ill say this. I have never met a single Toyota f1 fan and i know lots of F1 fans. val, if your in the Toyota stand there are Toyota fans there because most of them are Toyota employees. Just like most of the fans in the mercedes stand are Merc employees, or honda fans in Suzuka as they give their employees thousands of tickets for the home races.
Forget Renault, what do you think about the 2010 F1 calendar instead? I am sick of the whole Renault - FIA joke. I think it is more interesting to comment on the newly announced 2010 calendar. 19 races in total. 2 more than this season. 17 same venues as this year (switched around a bit) with the return of Canada and the addition of Korea. http://uk.eurosport.yahoo.com/21092009/23/fia-announces-2010-calendar.html I am happy with 19 races, even if I still hate the 4-week break before the Belgian G.P. What do you think? Would you have preferred a different calendar? And what about Turkey? Last year it was an almost no-show. And Montreal in June is too close to Quebec Spring Thaw, which will again give problems to the circuit surface. @ Eric: The German G.P. will be at Hockenheim. It's a shame there will be no Nurburgring next year. Also, Spring Thaw in Montreal varies, but usually lasts until sometime in May. And for a few weeks after that time, the roads are still subject to degradation. This means that even if the track is resurfaced in June prior to the race, the substrate is not able to bind with the new asphalt and under strenuous conditions has the tendency to break up. It has been proved that if the same procedure is applied in August - beginning of September, the overall track conditions can be greatly improved. We really have to hope for a warm winter in Canada and an early Spring Thaw. But I still don't understand why they don't fit this G.P. in the schedule a little later.
renault as a formual 1 racing team? can someen give em a link or soem info on the renault f1 racing team im doign a fenchn project and ned help thanks . leae link is possible and the more info teh better
Has Piquet Junior killed off any chance of returning to F1? 1. If hes made all this up and is trying to blackmail Renault, then hes a despicable little sh!t who's lower than a snakes belly. 2. If he acted under orders, hes a cheat and has no respect for the sport or its participants. (Hamilton) 3. Hes a crap driver. So is this the end of Junior in F1? if not who would have him?
Piquet confirms Renault exit? Nelson Piquet has confirmed he will not be racing at the European Grand Prix later this month after parting company with the Renault team. Piquet was already in doubt for the previous race in Hungary, but a war of words with team boss Flavio Briatore last week seemed to indicate the end of the relationship between the Brazilian and Renault. On Monday, Piquet released a statement confirming Renault has notified him he will not be racing for the team anymore. "I have received notice from the Renault F1 team of its intention to stop me from driving for them in the current F1 season," said Piquet. "I want to say thanks to the small group who supported me and that I worked together at Renault F1, although it is obviously with great disappointment that I receive such news." The Brazilian said he was relieved to finally put an end to a difficult time with Renault, and he is hopeful he can move on to succeed in F1. "I feel a sense of relief for the end of the worst period of my career, and the possibility that I can now move on and put my career back on the right track and try to recover my reputation of a fast, winning driver," he said. "I am a team player and there are dozens of people I have worked with in my career who would vouch for my character and talent, except unfortunately the person that has had the most influence on my career in Formula 1." Piquet also claimed that he had not received the same treatment as team-mate Fernando Alonso this season. "For the 2009 season Briatore ... promised me everything would be different, that I would get the attention I deserved but had never received, and that I would get 'at least equal treatment' inside the team," he added. "He made me sign a performance-based contract, requiring me to score 40% of Fernando Alonso's points by mid-way through the season. Despite driving with Fernando, two-time world champion and a really excellent driver, I was confident that, if I had the same conditions, I would easily attain the 40% of points required by the contract. "Unfortunately, the promises didn't turn into reality again. With the new car I completed 2002km of testing compared to Fernando's 3839km. Only three days of my testing was in dry weather - only one of Fernando's was wet. "I was only testing with a heavy car, hard tyres, mostly on the first day (when the track is slow and reliability is poor), or when the weather was bad. Fernando was driving a light car with soft tyres in the dry, fine conditions. I never had a chance to be prepared for the qualifying system we use. In Formula 1 today, the difference between 1st and 15th position is sometimes less than a second. It means that 0.2 or 0.3s can make you gain eight positions." The Brazilian slammed Briatore as his "executioner", and said he is confident he has the skill to succeed in F1. "I believe without doubt in my talent and my performance. I didn't get this far by getting bad results. Anyone who knows my history knows that the results I am having in F1 do not match my CV and my ability. "The conditions I have had to deal with during the last two years have been very strange to say the least - there are incidents that I can hardly believe occurred myself. If I now need to give explanations, I am certain it is because of the unfair situation I have been in the past two years. "I always believed that having a manager was being a part of a team and having a partner. A manager is supposed to encourage you, support you, and provide you with opportunities. In my case it was the opposite. Flavio Briatore was my executioner." http://www.autosport.com/news/report.php/id/77538
Flavio and Symonds leave Renault!!? And Renault will not dispute recent allegations!!! http://www.crash.net/f1/news/152363/1/briatore_and_symonds_leave_renault_f1.html Shocker! a pretty dark day for F1. Is this the end of Renault F1? Its on Autosport as well so it must be true!... http://www.autosport.com/news/report.php/id/78668
How does a F1 car go from being good one year to being crap the next? Like Renault. Can't the use the same model they had when they won?
What is the ugliest F1 car on the 2008 grid? I vote Renault and not because of any bias or anything. Come on! The thing is like a big pregnant whale in a nasty color scheme. And it is also slow. Love the new Williams but McLaren looks even more beautiful this season. F2008 needs a better looking nose TBH. What you all think is the ugliest looking car? You can also comment on which color schemes you all like! Yeah, I the Force India car looks pretty neat with white and gold. I wish they threw some more gold on the top of the nosecone area.
What's a DP engine and how does it work? In the mid 80's Renault F1 introduced a V6 DP engine to fight Williams and Honda. Quiz time: What does the label "DP" stand for? And what were the differences of that engine compared to the standard engines of that time? Was it successful?
Do you think Renault will actually be suspended from the European GP? If F1 is trying to gain fans, why shoot themselves in the foot and prevent Alonso from missing his home event in Valencia with huge fan base. It would be like suspending McClaren and Hamilton in SilverStone? People pay big money and wait all year for this. Just give the team a ten grid penalty spot. No one wants to see a wheel come off and kill someone, but there are other ways like a heavy fine of 50,000 dollars. Why punish the fans?
Do you think the Soviets want the Americans to compete in F1? It seems Renault F1 has become "Soviet F1". Receiving the backing of none other than Vladimir Putin... the notorious Soviet leader - now Russian Prime Minister. Lada will be sponsoring Renault & the Lada name will be seen on the side of the team. I hope they're not title sponsors.... Now that USF1 are out this year & hope to return next year. Do you think Putin will stockpile the nukes? Polish Kubica Russian Petrov Russian Lada Putin says this is just the start of a partnership & to expect more in the future.... Oh dear.. Renault have you gone mad? P.S. clearly this is a pisstake. Looks like Russia has won already. USF1 are dead.... Lada, to me cheapens F1... like having Reliant as sponsors of McLaren. Or Dihatsu sponsoring Ferrari.
Who you think all the F1 team's drivers will be next year? Also what is going to happen with Heikki Kovalainen? I always thought he was very good at Renault, but it never really happened for him at McLaren.
Which current F1 drivers should get their marching orders? ...(subject to contracts obviously, which I admit I'm not too sure about who has what). Nelsinho Junior from Renault? Heikki from McLaren? Sutil from Force India? What are your suggestions? Who would you replace them with? Is it too early in the season to start writing their P45s? Oops, sorry. Didn't realise it had been asked before. Won't be offended if you ignore it! Looks like the general consensus is: OUT - Fisi & Bourdais, closely followed by Kimi, Nelsinho & Bourdais IN - Hulkenberg & Senna Thanks everyone! Great responses.
who really great friends in the present f1 ? i know alonso and fisichella are good friends from the renault years :) homeland kimi and heikki are friends as well :) my question came out wrong! i meant, who are really great friends in the present F1. reporter girl get lost! you're not wanted in this section!
Is this Nelly Juniors best chance of getting another F1 seat? 3 Seater F1 car! have a look.... http://www.f1fanatic.co.uk/2009/09/20/renault-runs-three-seat-f1-car-in-russia-pictures/
What would be quicker: Mid 80's Turbo F1 car or 05 V10 F1 car? To be exact, the 1985 Renault Turbo F1 car with a qualifying engine which had according to Derek Warwick 1550bhp. This versus the 2005 Honda F1 car with the 3 litre V10 which was touching 1000bhp. I know back in 2003 at Monza Michael Schumacher recorded the fastest F1 speed ever at 230.5mph but would an 80's turbo qualifying F1 car with more horsepower be faster in a drag race than the V10s? Also round a circuit like Silverstone or Barcelona.. which would be faster?
renault as a formual 1 racing team? can someen give em a link or soem info on the renault f1 racing team im doign a fenchn project and ned help thanks . leae link is possible and the more info teh better
Who will have the number 1 on his car in F1, next season? Alonso will take his number with him at McLaren, or the number will stay at Renault?and how FIA will arange the numbers on the cars?could somebody answer this question?
Does anyone hope Robert Kubica snatches the F1 championship? No one can honestly say either Ferrari's or McLaren's drivers deserve it, with both constant strategic& driving errors, Id laugh if BMW& Renault wipe the floor next year. Sorry Val, I don't mean any harm I just would like the best driver to win, I know it won't happen
All F1 cars are within 20 horse power so Alonso missed the acceleration point with arch rival behind? I find it hard to believe Alonso missed his accelaration point out of the turn, he knew Lewis was close I think it was a little bit of mind games again on Alonso's part and worked... Took Lewis out of title fight.... I respect Alonso as an excellent driver but he does himself no favours by pulling stunts like this... The Renault isn't up to scratch & his ego wouldn't let Alonso overtake. Yet again Lewis remains diplomatic when interviewed... I meant wouldn't let Lewis overtake...
Do you think that Michael Schumacher could make a turnover of the championship, and win it? Now the championship is coming to the midseason, and Schumacher is closing down the gap between the championship leader Alonso, as the championship goes ahead Alonso the F1 Renault driver is struglling to keep up with the exellent pace he showed in the first opening races of the season.
If Renault are found guilty by the fia over macca spygate what punishment will the fia hand out? and would the renault drivers from last year lose their points? http://www.itv-f1.com/News_Article.aspx?PO_ID=41333 http://www.planetf1.com/story/0,18954,3213_2899378,00.html
how will ferrari win the f1 title this year? mclaren, renault, cars no good how will they get the fia to disqualify the rest of the grid
F1 ,going from bad to worse ,what does ron dennis hope to prove? McLaren report Renault to FIA In another dramatic twist in the Stepneygate saga, McLaren have requested that the FIA scrutinise certain matters pertaining to their rivals Renault. The hypothesis swirling around the paddock is that McLaren's opening gambit at the Paris spy hearing will be to implicate other teams. what on earth is RD trying to prove and why now? http://www.planetf1.com/story/0,18954,3213_2721937,00.html
Testing for Future F1 drivers? Now that teams are not allowed to test during the season how do you get young drivers into the cars to test and gain experience during the season? A lot of drivers made their way into F1 after testing like Alonso with Renault (after racing for Minardi) and Massa (after a stint with Sauber). So I guess I'm wondering if anybody has any ideas on how to give new guys some experience?
Can Anybody tell me more about the Mass Dampers used in Formula1 cars? I've been hearing a lot lately about the mass dampers in some of the F1 cars (ex: Renault) and their legality. What are they? can you give me links to pictures of these dampers? What's illegal about them? thanks!
Will the drivers and teams in F1 stay the same in 2009? It would be a first, i think! http://uk.eurosport.yahoo.com/05112008/58/2009-drivers-focus-turns-honda.html Renault look to be keeping Alonso and Junior, so its down to if Honda will stay with Jenson Starsky and Rubens Hutch
What makes americans think that their NASCAR drivers are better than F1 drivers? First off this has nothing to do with the perceived difficulty of racing so lets not bring that into it. F1 drivers are the best of the best. People from all around the world, from every country in the world aspiring to get into it. That is pretty much every road racers dream. The fact of the matter is that more people take part in racing in the UK(with a population of 60million) than in the whole of the US (population of 300million). Now think about this, there are as many racers again taking part in Germany, Spain, Italy, France, Japan, South America, Eastern Europe, Finland(small population but its a religion over there), pretty much every country in the world. It is the very best of those that make it into F1. Those who won championships in Karting, formula renault, F3, F3000, GP2, Touring cars, etc. What makes people here think the average NASCAR driver is better than the average F1 driver. There are so many more trying to get into F1 that the standard must be higher This is only asked in reaction to the idiots who keep saying F1 drivers are shit and cant beat the good ol' boys which is plainly inaccurate. Think of it like this would you say the best players in the MLS is good enough to be compared to the best players in European football leagues? Of course not. Less people taking part = less talent.
Sebastien Bourdais in F1? Why isn't this guy in F1? Triple Champ Car titles and still can't get anything more than a testing role. It's fair enough that big teams like Ferrari/McLaren/Renault don't want to experiment (and they have contracts with established drivers), and Bourdais is probably being a little picky and doesn't want to go to smaller teams like Aguris, and Spykers, but I would have thought that Toyota/BMW/Red Bull could well afford him....he's gotta be way better than some unknown rookies
Whats the best way to go after go karts? I Race TKM and am a fast and confident driver. I dont know where to go now. Should i go to formula ford, formula renault or should i go for car racing like the clio cup or fiesta cup. Id like to race F1 or the BTCC (British Touring Car Championship). Please help. I would appreciate a racing driver or kart racer to help.
A washed up F1 star for NASCAR. Presenting Jacques Villeneuve...? Apparantly Jacques Villeneuve is heading to NASCAR and he is going to test a truck on Monday. His father was possibly the most gifted driver of all time before he was so cruelly taken away from us. But Jacques was once an okay driver but is now nothing but a has been. He was an exceptional rookie and he should have won his first race but for an oil pressure leak. He won the championship in 1997 in the Williams which was by far the best car on the grid but Schumacher in the vastly inferior Ferrari pushed him all the way to the last race. He then went on an ego trip and joined BAR thinking they could win their first f1 race and hasnt won anything since 1997. I think 3rd is his best finish. He got sacked by them eventually and came back to Renault who didnt resign him and he was beaten by a succession of decidedly average drivers and BMW dropped him mid way through last year for a rookie(who went on to finish 3rd in his 3rd race after Villeneuve could only manage 6th all season). He was never a great driver and was flattered by a great team (williams) and he is a loudmouth who talks sh*t all the time. Unlike Montoya who was fast when he left F1, and the main reason he left was because his team mate Raikkonen was considered the best driver in F1 after schumacher and McLaren wanted him over Montoya and Alonso(the world champion) had already been signed. Montoya would have been able to keep his McLaren seat had he decided to stay in F1 and not signed for chip. Montoya is gifted but flawed, Villeneuve is just flawed. Jacques was sacked for an outright lack of pace. Nothing more, nothing less. I hate him and if you think Montoya(i dont btw) has a bad attitude wait till you see this guy... fair enough PapaBill i guess the question is what are peoples opinions on him joining? And Donna what is your problem with guys changing series. Good race drivers are good race drivers no matter where they came from. There was talk of Valentino Rossi(MotoGP) moving to F1 and people there thought it was a wonderful idea if he had the pace so whats your problem? Terri Q - Do you actually believe NASCAR has a bigger fanbase than F1? Are you ******* nuts? F1 is by far and away the richest and most popular form of motorsport in the world. Kimi Raikkonen is getting paid €51million this year before endorsements and F1 is international not just restricted to one continent. Hes going there because he cant cut it in F1 anymore and no one will give him anymore chances...

F1 - Australian GP Qualfiying Review - Your Opinions? Hey Guys! so a new season, i thought i would give a quick review of how i thought each driver/team did? your comments would be great! and maybe your own reviews too? thanks! :D Button: - Well done to him and Barrichello! is good to see him at the top where he should be Barrichello: Making it a Brawn Gp 1-2 on their debut, is no mean feat! good to see him back too Vettel: Really underlining his performance last year, lets hope he can keep it up and give Red Bull the results they deserve? Kubica - BMW Appeared to be struggling a bit, so he did well to drag it up to 4th Rosberg: Perhaps a bit dissapointing? after so much promise from Practice many people were thinking for better than 5th, but take nothing away from him, very good show! Massa + Raikonnen: Shocking to see Ferrari so low, and their fuel loads are quite low too, looks like they have some work to do! Webber: Got both Red Bulls inside the Top 10, and is doing well in front of his home crowd. Heidfeld: Didn't seem to be getting along with the BMW too much, really overshadowed by Kubica in this session Alonso: Perhaps the most suprising is Renault, after looking quite strong in practice, this is a huge dissapointment for them Nakajima : in only his 2nd year of F1 the Japanese driver is doing a good job, one to look out for in the future Kovalinen: What went wrong?? Mclarens car is awful, and they have a lot of work to do Buemi: 13th on your debut in a mid-field is no mean feat, Torro Rosso have been very quiet in testing, and i didnt see much of them in Quali today either, so well done to em ;) Piquet: You have to wonder how he got another year, he needs to improve dramatically, because his form is terrible. Fissechella + Sutil: Well done to Force India, they are showing they can compete with the mid-field, but they need more work if they are going to score many points this year Bourdais: again, not much heard from Torro Rosso, but this is a dissapointing result. Hamilton: (Moved down 5 places for Gearbox) oh dear.... that really sums it up Trulli + Glock (Relegated to back, due to an illegal diffuser): Toyota have been showing good form, and they looked like they should of done better, but now they are in trouble, i do not know whether they are going to change the parts for tomorrow? but they are allowed to race. Thanks for reading! your opinions would be great :D *in Buemis review, i meant mid-field team ;)
What do you think of the FIA's list for 2010 then? Ferrari, Toro Rosso, Red Bull, Williams, Force India, Campos, Manor!, US F1, McLaren*, BMW*, Renault*, Toyota*, Brawn*. * These 5 teams have until Fri 19th of June to lift their conditional entries. Has anything been resolved?
what do you mean by launch control and traction control in formula 1 racing. is this mechanism used in normal? Launch control refers to an electronic device that is used to assist a Formula 1 driver in the very moment of the start of a race.In high-performance racing vehicles, the driver has a very small threshold when it comes to acceleration. High power delivered by the engine to the gearbox and driven wheels can not be easily managed even by the most experienced drivers. Facing this issue, and with the growing development of electronics during the 1980s, led to the introduction of this type of software. In 1985, Renault's RE60 F1 car had a device that hosted a diskette which stored information inside and was unloaded at the pits, giving the engineers detailed data about the cars' behavior. Later on, telemetry allowed the data to be sent by a radio connection between the pits and the car. The increase of electronic-driven devices on the car allowed the engineers to modify the settings of certain parameters on the car while it was on the track, this being called bi-directional telemetry
Don't you believe that Fernando Alonso is the most fortunate(i mean lucky) Formula 1 driver? Ok.Check it out:He leaves from Renault F1(champions)and goes to McLaren where Kimi Raikonen had a difficult time(lots of retirements)...
Who will be champion in F1 next season? Maybe Raikkonen or Alonso.Or even debitant Hamilton? What's your opinion? And wich team will be best:Ferrari,Mclaren or Renault? Vazi carice, evo za pocetak 10poena!
Do you think that Schumacher deserves a headbutt from Zidane for winning in France today? And for inflicting more grief both in France and in the hearts of Renault fans. He should be reminded of his donkey behaviour considering F1. I'm talking about the Formula 1 race. plus, does the Ferrari team deserve a shot in the head from the folks at Renault? I certainly think so... I want the Cheaters' HQ destroyed!!!!
does fernando alonso and gincarlo fisichella really drives a renault as their daily car? if yes, are they prohibited in owning cars from direct f1 competitors like ferrari and mercedes-benz? would anyone here happen to know the cars of f1 drivers
Who will be this years movers and shakers? Not including the top 3 teams (Renault, Ferrari, Mclaren) who do you think is going to be the best performed or most improved team in the 2007 F1 season?
How have mclaren adapted to the bridgestone tyres so quickly compared to the other ex Michelin teams? has it something to do with coughlan asking stephny for the weight balance data of Ferrari 07 car in march ,which Renault have said they have only just found out by trial and error, what surprises me how fast mclaren have adapted to the bridgestone since the first grand prix in march ,yet honda and renault are still strugling with tyre wear. if ferrari had the mclaren book people on here would be calling for ferrari to be expelled from f1. so do you think mclaren have used the ferrari info for their weight and break balance etc.
Who will win f1 title next year? Ferrari with massa and raikkonen renault with fisichella and Kovalainen or mclaran with alonso
F1 racing teams? Who are the new drivers for Ferrari, BMW, Renault and Merc Aint it gona be boring without Schumi???
Your pick for a F1 champion? Forget about Ferrari, Mclaren, BMW, and Renault. If these teams/drivers weren't around and you had to choose one of the remaining drivers/teams that's worthy to be champion for driver's and constructors, who would they be and why?
Apparently the F1 spying row is blowing up again (yawn)...what are your views? http://uk.eurosport.yahoo.com/16062008/58/renault-deny-spying-claim.html Either it was a rubbish thing to steal, or the R28 would have been even worse without it... Delighted to see some immigrants from the cricket section...you'll find it a little less antagonistic in here.
Where is now Fernando Alonso? Fernando Alonso (Renault) is a F1 pilot. He live in England, Oxford.
who would WIN f1 2006? Renault's got 3 wins already. But do you think McLaren can come back?
Who will win the F1 race at Hockenheim? 4 options: Fernando Alonso Giancarlo Fisichella Kimi Raikkonen Pedro de la Rosa (the Renault and McLaren drivers)
Flavio Briatore is calling for McLaren to be excluded from the F1 World Championship in light of the Stepneyga 1 apart from helping his own team renault what has flav got aginst mclaren when he used to have a problem with ferrari in the past. 2 how much weight will flave input have for the fia ,if any at all? http://www.planetf1.com/story/0,18954,3213_2640233,00.html
